About the Contributors

Dow Michael Edwards is a member of Irwin Fritchie Urquhart & Moore LLC and concentrates his practice on the defense of personal injury and property damage claims.  Dow has varied experiences including the defense of premises liability claims for railroads, fast food establishments, public and private building owners and food stores. Dow has significant experience defending railroad grade crossing accidents, derailments, and trespasser claims. His railroad defense practice also includes defending lawsuits arising under the Federal Employers’ Liability Act (FELA), involving traumatic injuries and a variety of occupational injuries such as repetitive stresses, asbestos and chemical exposures. David M. Melancon is a member of Irwin Fritchie Urquhart & Moore LLC and concentrates his practice on the defense of personal injury and property damage claims.  His experience includes the defense of premises liability claims in a variety of different contexts including matters involving retail establishments, food stores, pharmacies, convenience stores, apartment complexes, and hotels, among others.
